Its name was changed to Ringling to honor John T. Ringling of the Ringling Bros Circus. He had bought 100,000 acres there. Ringling had several fires and the worst was in l931.After the demise of the railroads the town dwindled to approximately 50 or less people living in the town and area. All that remained in Ringling was a post office, school, restaurant and bar. In l950 about that time I was 8 yrs old and there was nothing there but a old church. There is no cementary there. But many people are buried in White Sulphur Springs,Mont. There is only one funeral home there address. is Twitchell Funeral Home ,White Sulphur Springs, Montana. Only one cementary address is Mayn Cementary,White Sulphur Springs, Montana. Good Luck Hope this may help you... Rita
