They were a large family of 8 children. Information on the family was in a story written by Carolyn Mongar Woirhaye and publis.hed in a journal, "The Smith River Journal" which I have. Additional stories are in the book. My father and Ann were divorced when I was very young, my father remarrying and I had little contact with the family until trying geneology searching. Would like to pursue the roots of the family previous to their homesteading in Montana. My father's family homesteaded not far from the Mongar's who ranched on Tenderfoot Creek. This part of Montana is still a wonderfully scenic and scarcely populated. Mostly cattle and sheep ranching.
