He was married to Mathilde Quale who was born 4/27/1882 in Dane County Wisconsin. I stumbled across a bureau of land management record for a Chauncey Dunkel, showing land in Meagher county and have a very old note from my grandmother showing that Mathilde died in Montana. That is all the information I have to go on. I am not at all familiar with Montana, so any info would be greatly appreciated...or direction where to look next. Thank you, Jinger Mandt
