    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Dailey, Ashbaugh Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4NB.2ACI/90 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on Asa Dailey b. 1861 in WI, his second wife Myrtle nee Ashbaugh b. 1886 in WI and their daughter Irma Dailey b. 1917 in White Sulphur Springs, Montana. I have been unable to locate them in the 1920 census. Also missing are Emma Ashbaugh(Myrtle's mother) and Emma's boys Earl Henry b. 1897 in WI, Frank Cecil b. 1881, Frank's wife Alice and Llewellyn Glen b.1894 married Marricole???. I have the younger men's draft registrations for 1918. One draft registration list Ace Dailey as employer in Smith River Valley. Another lists Asa as employer but in White Sulphur Springs. My ggrandmother Myrtle died in MT although I have been unable to find a registration of death to that effect. I have a letter dated 1966 that states from School District Number 39, White Sulphur......., School Census Records on file in this office: "Year 1923..." it goes on to state she was age 5 in 1923, she born in 1917, etc...". I am not quite sure if she attended school ! there or not but it definitely puts her there in 1923. I think one or two of the Ashbaugh men may have left prior to 1923. The families were Episcopalian/Presbyterian. Are there any churches of those denominations around during that time period? Is there a newspaper that may have archives from those years? What are the names of the older cemeteries in the region? I have really hit a dead end here! Any information you can offer would be most appreciated! How easy would it have been to miss the family in that area during the 1920 census? Thank you, Dawn
