Helen was a first cousin to my mother Laura May (Knox)Hadeen. I recall Helen Knox Danzer visting us in 1938 at our home near Oakdale, Stanislaus County, California. Her father was Anslem Parker (Feb. 28,1844-June 26, 1899) Born in Missouri and died in Montana. Mother was Hester Ann Walters (Feb 22,1853-Oct 28, 1937) Born in Iowa and Died in Townsend. P. Grandfather was William Parker born in Indiana abt 1819. M grandparents were James Walters born in Ohio in abt 1829 and Margaret Hall born in Ohio in abt 1838. I think that Anslem had two sisters Elizabeth Parker Hensley Miller. I was told that her sons pictures are in the museum in WSS. The other sister was Lydia Richardson. He met and married a Rosa Bristor they had two sons Earl and Chester. They had a large ranch in Meagher County, but have been unable to fine the surname Lohman or Bristor. John C Lohman is buried in White Sulphur Springs. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

John (b1854) and Hansine (b1850) Hoyem and children George (1872) Pauline (1874) Ragnvald (1878) and Jon (1881) left the Trondheim area of Norway in Jan 1882. Original destination was St Paul but Bygdebok information imply Montana shortly thereafter. Although emigration records spelled the name Hoiem, I believe Hoyem was used in the USA

Their names were Marie(nee Duffy) and "Colonel" Fowlie. Family referred to him as Colonel, I have no idea what his real first name was.
