I have the story that Carrie wrote about Rimrock and how your family grew up! It was AMAZING! I couldnt put it down! I looked in our tree and the only information that I have is that Annie's Mom's name is Carolyn Smith. I have talked to Tom Mongar and he says that he has a picture of her, but he just got married recently so I am sure that this is the last thing on his mind! I did not know that your grandfather had remarried. Would you happen to know who he remarried? I have information on George's dad Josiah if you would like it. you can contact me at [email protected] Thanks Ann Mongar

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/4NB.2ACI/29.27.31.1 Message Board Post: I am a daughter of Mae Micharl Mongar whose parents were Ann (Bergland) Mongar and George Mongar who were residents of Meagher County, Montana. They were a large family of 8 children. Information on the family was in a story written by Carolyn Mongar Woirhaye and publis.hed in a journal, "The Smith River Journal" which I have. Additional stories are in the book. My father and Ann were divorced when I was very young, my father remarrying and I had little contact with the family until trying geneology searching. Would like to pursue the roots of the family previous to their homesteading in Montana. My father's family homesteaded not far from the Mongar's who ranched on Tenderfoot Creek. This part of Montana is still a wonderfully scenic and scarcely populated. Mostly cattle and sheep ranching.
