Kinnick. John Kinnick's father, George Washington Kinnick, Jr. migrated from England to Holland and then settled in Mocksville, Davie County, North Carolina. MArried Sara Mellisa Revis. Moved to Villisca, Iowa in 1874. Do not know when or how they died, but my great-grandfather,John Kinnick, and most of his siblings travelled in 1885 to Oregon. John and Maggie married in Oregon, and moved to the Lewistown, Montana area in 1907.

His occupation was "Farmer". Living in the household were 3 gold miners. Does anyone have any information on him, such as whether he owned property in Meagher Co., MT, whether he married there, or whether any of his daughters settled there. As a cautionary note, Bauguess frequently gets mispelled in indexes, appearing as Banguess, Burgess, Banquet, etc. I have got "tons" of info on the family of Lafayette Bauguess.
