    3. I would like to clarify for everyone. A state sponsorship does not mean you are voting yes or no for the amendment at this time. This is a vote to put it on the ballot and subsequently discuss the pros and cons. It is a vote to put it in front of the whole membership so that the membership can discuss and then vote in the summer. Personally I would like to see this put on the ballot so that everyone can talk about it. Most of us abide by this already but there are counties in the USGW that do not proudly say they are a member of the USGenWeb project but there is little that can be done about it because the bylaws don't require we put the logo on the first viewed portion of our site's index page. I know in another state someone had a problem with the word "upppermost" and what the dictionary says about the word. The proposed amendment states "uppermost view" which is the view a visitor has when they arrive at a site not a specific point. What are our concerns either pro or con, supporting this proposed amendment be put on the ballot for next summer's vote? A simple no does not explain your thinking and I think we would all like to hear the thought behind the position each of us takes. As I would like to see this proposed amendment on the national ballot, I would like to vote yes. Thanks much, Karen On Sat, Jan 6, 2018 at 1:23 PM, Trish Elliott-Kashima <[email protected]> wrote: > No. > > Trish > Beaverhead Co > > > On Jan 6, 2018 10:53 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > > Shirley, > > I vote no.
