I agree with the additions of #3 for grounds to remove a CC. However, a CC who is a genealogist for hire is allowed to have his/her information on an inside page along with other paid genealogists. The conclusion hadn't been discussed before and this is a good time to do it. I agree that the sentence: "This is a volunteer position and as such mandates as written above are only relevant if the membership agrees to abide by them." should be removed ACC's must be approved by SC's and give home address and a phone number (per USGenWeb rules) and are members of the project with full voting rights. I know that previous ACC's were allowed to be added by CC's as they wished but I have required MTGenWeb ACC's to agree to follow the rules of the project and provide contact information before adding them to the membership list. Re: ACCs The way the policy page reads is that the ACC can be chosen by the CC ie: selected is chosen. It does not say that the ACC has to conform to all the rules and approval procedure that the CC does so you would want some wording after, "may select" that would implement this policy. In another state project we call these full status ACCs Co-CCs as they have the same rights and responsibilities as the CC. In this same project, ACCs are merely county assistants and have not filled out forms nor have they been approved so cannot vote. Personally I feel ACCs with approval to be the easier way.
