The new policies include a provision for an SC election every 2 years and as I have been the SC for the MTGenWeb for 2 1/2 (or so) years, it is time to hold another election. The policies also state that candidates must declare their intention to run for the SC position no later than September 1st. The requirement for the position is having been a CC in the project for at least 12 months. I would like to continue as the SC of the MTGenWeb and this is my official notice of my intent to run for the position in the upcoming election. Shirley
