    3. Amen Shirley! Although I make most of my posts like this on Facebook, the military is part of our history and military records part of genealogy. Sometimes I don't think we really think about our individual ancestors that served beyond the documentation and bits of information we get from the record. On days like today I like to additionally remember my veteran ancestors, knowing their sacrifice is what put me here on earth to enjoy a life of freedom.
