I recently participated in the Stewart/Stuart DNA project and got an exact match with only one other group so far. That family was the James and Mary Lafferty Stewart family that settled the Cowpasture area of VA in the early 1700's. Do any descendants of Aaron Stewart who came to early Winston County know if this family connects to yours? My William Davis Stuart in Neshoba County was on the 1850 Winston census next door to Aaron Stewart (Jr.) so I thought there might be a connection. Thanks, George Stuart
