Dear Barbara, Thank you for your response about my Andersons. Obviously, your information is exactly what I was looking for. Now all I have to do is find the following: 1. When did Harrison and his wife die ? (they were both alive in 1920 Census) 2. Where can I locate their 1870 Census records ? (should be in Winston Co. also) 3. Who owned them prior to Civil War ? (Harrison Anderson's wife's name was July or Julia Hudson). I just learned that they were married in Winston Co. in 1876. Thank you for your help ! I greatly appreciate it. John C.
