Having done genealogy for a number of years I have to agree with this, I will send a little of what I have and if the person does not respond with a thank you and some information I will drop them. Even if you think the person already has the information you have send it anyway its a good way to verify that dates, places etc. are correct. If you disagree you can match where the info. came from and decide which is correct or if that does not happen you can carry both dates with a note as to where the info. comes from. I am researching the following Winston County Families ARNETT-CROWELL-MITCHELL-WHITTEN- and related famlies. By the way I think this is a great site and has been a big help to a southerner who is now living up north. Faye
