We have two Kiziah McClanahans. The Kiziah born 8 Aug 1835 was the daughter of our ancestor, Sarah Ann McKenzie and Peter Rice McClanahan. She did marry William Holmes in Anderson Co. TX 18 June 1856. The Kiziah McClanahan (1799-1862) was Peter's sister (therefore, an aunt to the above Kiziah). She married William Lacey Hunt by 1826 in Greenville, SC. He died in 1836. The family story is that she and her eight children came to Winston (later Choctaw Co.) MS by covered wagon after William Lacey died. Later she married Franklin Turner. Ken just gave Franklin's birth and death date from his headstone yesterday. Dana
