    1. Re: [MSWINSTON] J.W. Clark & his sister, Marilyn Clark
    2. Well, I didn't have much on the Lovorn line until I received this a bit ago. Henry Clark is my Uncle and his older brother William Frank Clark married a Lydia Lovorn. I would need to ask my Mom if Lydia was Ollie Mae's sister or cousin. Book: WINSTON COUNTY And Its PEOPLE Copyrighted 1980 by The Winston County Genealogical and Historical Society Louisville, MS 39339 Compiled by Nancy Randolph Parkes (she is deceased now) pg 39 Ollie Mae Lovorn Clark Ollie Mae Lovorn, eighth child of William Hughes and Maggie Lovorn was born October 10, 1910; married Henry Clark. Ollie Mae died November 8, 1964, and is buried in Detroit, Michigan. (Henry Gilbert Clark d. 4 June 1971) Children are: 1. Jay, b. Aug 1, 1927;(this must be J.W.) married June 26, 1948 to Joyce (b. March 10,1929) Children are: a. Cynthia, b. Jan 23, 1949 Children are 1. Melissa, b. Mar 17, 1969 2. Angel b. Sep 24, 1972 b. Cathy, b. March 26, 1950 Children are 1. Nicole, b. Feb 7, 1970 2. Emmett, Jr., b. Apr 4, 1972 c. Carol, b. Dec 5, 1964 d. John, b. Nov 11, 1952 e. Jayson, b. July 22, 1966 2. Marilyn, b. Jun 6 1937; married Sep 7, 1957 to Edward Rayba (b. Apr 24, 1935/6) Children of Marily and Edward are: a. Mary Louise, b. Apr 17, 1960 b. Diana, b. March 7, 1962 c. Bethanne, b. Apr 15, 1966 d. Cheryl, b. Dec 18, 1967. For whatever reason, this book doesn't list the first daughter, MaryLou (Mary Louise) b. 18 July 1930 & d. 31 Aug. 1933. She is buried at Kellis Store in the Clark line. Italics are my notes - gnanse nelson

    3. It will take me a few days to get to my files. BUT I feel certain that we connect and I will be able to help you. What I would like to do is add your line to my records down through you and your children's generations. I am trying to connect all the LOVORN/LOVERNs as I can, quite a few of Us descend from the three brothers who settled in Ms. So I am guessing here. Hughes sound sooo familiar. your line is either from one of my grandfathers brother's or from one of his Uncles. Thank you Holly --- [email protected] wrote: > Well, I didn't have much on the Lovorn line until I received this a > bit ago. > Henry Clark is my Uncle and his older brother William Frank Clark > married a > Lydia Lovorn.
