Jim, If you would like to write a short (or long) biography for Capt. James Savage based on what you know to date, I would be happy to post that to the Winston Co. MSGenWeb. This may facilitate your connection with other researchers who can provide additional information. Other members of this list should consider doing the same thing for their Winston Co. ancestors. I have found that making family research information available on the Internet is a great way to make contact with other people researching the same family. I am happy to post any biographies related to Winston Co. MS. Thanks, Jerry Jerry L. Butler Winston Co. Jim, I recall now that I had already added these two obituaries to the Winston Co. MSGenWeb site. I have you as the source but did not include your email address. Shall I add your email address to the two Savage obituary pages? Do you know if Drucilla and Peter Crawford had a sister named Sarah, born about 1815 in SC? Sarah Crawford Butler lived in Winston Co. from 1846 until her death about 1852 but I haven't been able to connect her to the Crawford family. I would very much like to connect with someone researching the Crawford family in Winston Co. Jerry Jerry L. Butler Winston Co. Sure add it you never know where or who contacts are. Contact B.R.Weeks; 240 Cherokee Road; Nashville, TN 37205-1818 about the Crawfords. He runs a Weeks Family Newsletter about Winston Co Weeks and I think will have some knowledge about the Crawfords\ Jim http://personal.ayrix.net/~savage1/ Savage Family genealogy Christmas begins it and Easter completes it ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry L.
