    1. Re: [MSWINSTON] John William Henry SHARP
    2. Louise Sharp
    3. Dear George, Thanks so much for your response to my query. My first Sharp ancestor was William Sharp who was in Morgan Co., GA. We don't know much about him at this time. His son was John Floyd Sharp married Martha Adcock in Fayette Co., GA in 1825. They lived in Merewither Co., GA for a time, moved to Chambers Co., AL and lived in those areas which included Lee, Russell and Macon Counties. They lived and died in Eclectic, Elmore, AL and are buried at Chana Creek Cem. in Eclectic. Their oldest son, John William Henry Sharp was born in 1826 in Fayette Co., GA. and the story was he went to MS prior to the Civil War. As previously mentioned, he and his wife lived and died in Newton Co., MS. As far as I know, I have no connections to Greene Co., AL, at least nothing found at this time. Thanks again and good hunting to you.
