Hello all, I have recently completed transcribing the index to the "Confederate Pensions 1892-1895" record book in the Winston County Chancery Clerk's office. The names are listed in the order in which they were written in the index (more or less). Thus they are grouped by beginning letter of surname but not listed in alphabetical order. Unfortunately, it appears that not all letters of the alphabet were represented. I have also included a list of the questions that were asked on this pension application to give you an idea of the type of information that can be gained from them.
