    1. Hames/Haimes Family of Winston County, MS

    3. I am interested in tracing the family of Samuel E. Hames (11/07/1823-6/25/1901) and Lettie Frances Long Hames (3/29/1831-6/11/1908), who homesteaded in Winston County, Mississippi, not long after their marriage in Georgia on Oct. 9, 1856. Their children were Frances Cordelia (Cordie) Haimes who married H. Carr and lived in Ackerman; Robert Boyd Haimes who married first Allie N. Porter and then Ina Green; John William (Jake) Haimes who did not marry; Cleophas Decalb (Babe) Haimes who married first Mary Etta (Mollye) West and then Louvada (Ludie) Miller; Jefferson (Jeff) Davis Haimes who married Ida Wallace; and Mary Virginia (Vergie) Haimes who married Thomas Alexander Price and lived in Philadelphia.     3. Who were the parents of Louvada "Ludie" Miller? Seaborn Jones Miller (1822-1900) from Plattsburg, Winston Co., MS was my GG-Grandfather. His Uncle Abraham "Abram" Miller also lived in Winston County. There may have been others of this Miller family in Winston County also.
