Jerry I am not sure how to answer this. I have wrong information out there. I would like folks to be aware of this and correct it. I once had a website with this information on it. Kay Rockett also had this information and others. It has now been proven wrong. I just want folks to be aware this is a error. Eliza Jane McELVANY did marry "a" J. E. SHAW on 4 December 1892 in Choctaw County, MS. But not the J. E. Shaw found below. I had J. E. (James Emery Shaw) as my gg-grandfather the son of James and Jane BAGWELL SHAW called "Blind Jim" born abt 1829 in Shelby County, Alabama died after 1900. This is not correct.
