Louis, I realized shortly after I sent the message that the date was left out. I sent an update to the list but the date is June 11, 2006. One day I hope to get to Louisville and get a couple of your books. Many of my family was on both sides of the Winston/Neshoba line near Arlington & Plattsburg. I have tried to see if there was a connection to the Aaron Stewart family near Fern Springs but have not found anything. My McCowns were in that area ot the county in the early 1840s also. A potluck lunch will be served. Bring a favorite dish if possible (but it is not required) and join us. The fellowship hall will be open for us starting about 10 am. Hi, I am trying to see if the Harry Douglass on the land list for Winston Co, MS may actually be the father of John A. Douglass who is also listed on the land list? If anyone has information on either of these two men, please reply. I am trying to find out the parents of John A. Douglass (siblings and any other information I can find). I know that John A. Douglas married Sarah Curtis in Winston Co. But would like to find out more information. Thank you very much.
