Before passing on any warnings they should be checked out at hoaxbusters.
List Members: While I appreciate your concern over virus and worm infections, please do NOT post "virus warnings" to this list. Virus warnings and alerts belong in the appropriate list for that topic. Thank you. Ken Jackson Administrator, Winston County Mailing List
Feel I should let you folks know that this is just another virus hoax. Don't remove the file - it is supposed to be there. If you will check any of the hoax sites on the internet, you will find that this has been around for quite a while. Would give you the URL, but don't have time to look it up right now as I am about to leave for an appt. But believe me -- THIS IS A HOAX! Molly, that is a SCAM. Please don't delete "jdbgmgr.exe" it is part of your operating system. It isn't a virus. It is just a way that some evil hacker has found to torment us by trying to get us to ruin our own computer. If you did what it said I think there is a way listed somewhere to fix it. I'm sorry I don't know that url. Mary
Molly, If you will check, this is a hoax. Eliza/Elizabeth filed papers to receive money owed to Harvey after his death in the civil war, one of the witnesses on those papers is J.C. Cook from Winston Co. On the 1860 Census of Neshoba Co., MS Elizabeth lists her age as 25 and that she was born in TN. which fits with Eliza on the 1850 Census. She and Harvey are living near two of her brothers Charles and William. I would love to swap info with you. Thanks, Donna
