    3. This is a sheet bound into Wilkinson County Marriage book A. It is bound between pages 28 and 29. --17 Nov 1852-personally appeared before me one justice of the Peace for the state and county afore said, Frances M Currier and James Alexander Ventress residents of the state of Mississippi and the county of Wilkinson, who having been duly sworn according to law declare that JANE PERKINS is the widow of WILLIAM P. PERKINS deceased, who was a 4th sergeant in the company commanded by Captain James McEwen in the second Regiment of Tennessee Infantry commanded by Col. Thomas H. Benton in the war of 1812, that the said JANE PERKINS was married to the said WILLIAM P. PERKINS deceased, in Wilkinson Co., in the state of Mississippi on the twenty eight day of April AD 1818 by one James Carraway a justice of the Peace, that the name of the said JANE PERKINS before her marriage of one said was JANE STEWART, that her husband WILLIAM P. PERKINS died in Bolivar County on the 9th day of November AD 1850, and that she is still a widow, that day saw her married to the said William P. Perkins on the 28th April 1818 in Wilkinson County state of Mississippi by me, ames Carraway a Justic of the Peace said they swear they are disinterested witnesses. Signed Frances MCurrier, J.
