Thanks: Wm. W. Bartlett is my ggrandfather. The third child is (Walter) Neal and the last child is Alma. John is older than Alma, so there may be an error in the census.W. W. Bartlett had ten children, one of whom died in 1869 and is buried in Vienna Cemetery (no grave marker exists today). William Bartlett (b. 1823) was a brother of Daniel (b. 1828). His son., William Thomas Bartlett had a daughter Annie, who married a B. F. Cook in June, 1900. They sired my grandmother in 1902. My grandparents were cousins (something fairly common in the latter part of the 19th century). B. F. Cook died in 1906 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery (also in an unmarked grave). I am planning a trip to Lincoln Parish the week of the 10th of this month to see a relative (from the Wm. Thomas side) who knows the location of the grave. Thanks for checking for me. I do appreciate it. I now have both my ggrandparents (Annie & B.F. Cook and grandparents Milton and Maibelle Bartlett) certified Marriage Licenses. Documentation is the only way one can "prove" one's theories!!!
