Anyone know about it? Is it on private land? I looked for it very briefly last Saturday, but want to really search for it at a later (hopefully cooler) time.
Lanehart Road does intersect Hwy 61. Go South on Hwy 61 from the Hwy 24. Landhart is on the right about 4 miles down. Ogden Road may not connect with Lanehart. To get to Ogden Road, go West from Woodville on the Pinckneyville Road for about 3 1/2 miles. Turn left on to Donegal Road and go about 2 1/2 miles. Ogden Road is on the left. My map does not show a connection between the two roads, but they may have been connected since the map was published. If not, Ogden Road does not connect with Hwy 61. According to the Wilkinson County Cemetery Book this would be Dawson 1. Looking at the map in the cemetery book the cemetery is on Lanehart Road off of Hwy 61. It looks like it is across the street from a church and is in Sec 22 Township 1 North Range 2 West. Dawson 2 is in Sec 2 Township 3 North Range 2 West and looks to be way off the road. The roads in the area are Pat Leak Road, Carter Look and Buffalo Road. Looks like Dawson 2 is in the area of Sandy Creek. Hope this helps.
