    3. This John Perry seems to be a different John Perry than Virginia is talking about. Since that John Perry is married to Eleanor Murphy and she was born in 1850 in SC.     3. Hi Barbara. You are correct that it is a completely different Perry line than Virginia's Perry ancestors. This John E. Perry was born in Louisiana in 1837 to John Oliver Perry and Elinor Brown. They came to Louisiana from Maryland, settling in East Feliciana Parish. Their son, this John E. Perry in question, married Catherine F. Miller on 09 Feb. 1860. I was only responding to the one line in Virginia's posting that read: "John E. Perry md. Catharine f. Miller 9 Feb 1860 not sure this is his marriage." Hope this answers what you were wondering about.
