Box 9 Pattison, Texas 77466 (281) 375-5793 Gordon applied his skills as a trial lawyer to his research on this family, and cites all his sources. The same can be said for Terry Alford's data on Thomas and Sarah Smith Foster in his book, "Prince Among Slaves." Kberry, this may contain some useful information for you as well. We do have a list of William Foster's slaves as he granted them their freedom in his will if they would return to Africa, and their transportation was provided for. If there is anyone in particular you are looking for, you may want to contact David Dreyer here in Natchez. He is researching a number of the slaves of this area as well as LA, Ibrahima's children primarily but any others he comes across. Nan
