No she is not there. From his will it sounds as though the first family was not in the area. He just says that from what he hears his first family is doing well and is taken care of so he is leaving his estate to his present family. That is what intrigues me. We know so much about Zachariah's family and yet we still know so little about some of the major players. Peter Sr and his family is one of those. Peter Sr's group sheet is 14 pages long with court records and estate proceedings but I know very little about the man and his family. Peter Jr on the other hand has only a few conveyance records and they show up 1850 and later as though he lived somewhere else and only returned to Wilkinson County on his marriage to Annanias. Perhaps he was down in Amite County during those early years. You are welcome to what information I have gathered on Peter and family but it might be best to contact me personally as it may be too large for the list. Thanks! The Jones family members were early settlers of Liberty in Amite County. Darling married a Mary Smith but I don't know if she was related to the Smith's in Wilkinson County. There are conveyance records between Peter and Riley Findley and Peter and Jasper M. Anderson for shares in Elijah and Margaret's estate as late as 1850 but I do not know if this is the same Peter that married Annanias Jones. Also who were Annanias Jones parents? Thanks!
