Hello, The reason I'm responding to this, has to do with these books (I have them on CD-there is also a volume 6)..Don't stop here! I recently had a chance to go thru (on microfilm) the actual newspapers for just 1832-33. I was shocked at how much these volumes have left out!! The author should have given warning in the Intro, that the entries she was making were very random and by no means complete! On just one of the pages, I finally found mention of the SHELBY that I knew had to be in Wilkinson Co..They are not mentioned in any of these books..So then I began to compare what I was looking at on just this one page..The book lists only about 6 or 7 names-while the original page listed dozens of people! The newspapers are available thru the FHCs..I highly recommend their use..Then too, we are always being told to "Go to the original source" :-)) And they are fun reading Happy Holiday's!
