Barb, Several years ago I corresponded with James Stuart whose aunt had done extensive research on Richard Newton of Greene County, Ga.. James was descended from Sophia Abigail Tabor. I have the website in my files for the lineage chart (Newton) but right now WHERE IT IS is a mystery which I shall tackle after Christmas and get back to you. This is exciting as there were many children. I do know that Willis Newton also lived in East Feliciana, La. when Permelia and William did. I do not know when or where Richard Newton died.
