For whatever it is worth... Just wanted to reply to the e-mails on the LIST.....and I apologize for the length of this e-mail!!!! This list is made up of ALOT of people who honestly JUST WANT TO FIND THEIR ANCESTORS....and so do I!!! That's the reason this LIST was established by Mrs. Virginia Ewing--she cares! Anything I put on this list, I HONESTLY am hoping to help somebody else---and please don't misunderstand that statement----I am NOT trying to be self serving! I figure if I help somebody else....maybe one day they will remember me and might help me with a problem. That's what all of this genealogy "stuff" is about....helping! I'm a newcomer--only about 8 months into this wonderful genealogy world. As they say in the South "I am wet behind the ears"--and may I add very wet! I wished I knew more! I do not put ANYTHING on this list to try to give me any recognition, praise or otherwise. I live close to Woodville, MS. I enjoy going there and "discovering"---you would too....it's fascinating to see the Loose Probate Records filed BY NAME!!!!! I do NOT do this for money. I do this for the love of Wilkinson County and Amite County----that is were 95% of MY PEOPLE were born, lived and died. I am very proud of my family--good and bad--and to be researching them.
