Tina Hall >> Hey Tina, This is as much as I have on the above marriage between my great, great grandparents Elvira/Alvira Leith King Shropshire and Louis W. Arnold. they married March. 25, 1870, Amite County. Their Children: 1. Arra Rosalee Arnold (my great grandmother) b. May 5, 1875 d. July 7, 1959 buried Roseland Cemetery, Gloster. She married Daniel R. McCurley (my great grandfather) on June 2, 1896, Wilkinson Co. 2. Gina Arnold-I know absolutely nothing about this one except I found the name listed in Ed McCurley's Bible. Ed was the son of Arra Rosalee and Daniel. 3. Allen M. Arnold--b. May 1880. Married Mary L. Mathis on Feb. 27, 1913, Wilkinson Co. I also believe he married Teen Perry. Teen's third husband was an Arnold & she died in 1975 as Teen Perry Arnold but I HAVE NO DOCUMENTATION to prove this. 4. Francis "Fay" Iva Arnold--b. abt. 1873 married Davis Hastings Dec. 10, 1890, Wilkinson Co. 5. James G. Arnold--b. abt. 1878 married H.S. Sturdivant Oct. 24, 1900 in Wilkinson Co. ALSO, on the 1880 census it lists all of the above (except Gina) PLUS George Shropshire age 15 which would have have been Elivira/Alvira's son by her first marriage to William Shropshire. I also have quiet a bit of legal records from the Woodville Courthouse concerning the death of William and Louis W. and Elvira being named guardians of George, William, Walter and Thomas (her sons by her first husband William) if you would like them. Sorry, this is so long. Please correct me if you see something wrong Brenda McCurley White

    3. Wow! I'd love copies of the documents. Let me know if you need an address of if you can send them via e-mail. This is great information. I believe I have the children of Arra and Daniel from previous e-mails from you, but I didn't have these children, so thank you so much.
