    2. Can anyone provide me with information or point me in the direction to find books or other material about Elmridge Plantation/Farm (Wilkinson County) and Judge Peter Randolph? The Randolph's came to MS from VA abt. 1820/21. Judge Peter Randolph died in MS abt. 1832. Thanks

Probably still do at times. It is really hard to tell them apart. It is on page 42, Will Book 1, signed 19 Jan 1832, filed 27 Feb 1832 Wife Elizabeth the three negroes which I got by her HANNAH MARIAN and BILL, also SHADRACK. son JOHN H. RANDOLPH any negro which he may select from the Georgia property. George Property to be sold and all the negroes in Georgia to be brought to MS as soon as practical. To wife, Elizabeth, all the books she brought into the marriage and such other books as she may select out of my library. no property to be sold except that in Georgia Negroes to be divided in such a way that families would not be separated. [he was very concerned about this. He repeated several times that the Negro families where not to be separated, and if they had to be sold, they must be sold as a family. slaves and estate to be divided equally between wife and children, so as not to separate any families wife to get new carriage he had ordered from the North directed executor to buy two carriage horses for his wife directed executors to purchase a piano for his daughter CORNELIA, when she leaves school appoint T.
