I am looking for parents or siblings. The information below is all we have. Name: Albert Martin BELL Birth: Wilkson County, Miss??. Have different dates of 1839, 1843, 1848, even 1850 based on census records from 1870, 1900, 1910 (only ones we found) Death: 18 NOV 1922 in Bienville Parish,La. Some census say parents from Ms., some fron La., another say Ms and La. It is said he was Choctaw but not sure which parent, have no known siblings either. Bell, A., Pvt. Co. A. 28th La. Infty. ( Gray's ). On Rolls of Prisoners of War Paroled Natchitoches, La. June 15th, 1865. Res. Bienville Par., La. Inlisted;1861, Minden, La. Served under Col. Gray, Capt. Dan Sheppard, Lt. Steve Cockerham, Lecsh Caldwell. Stayed with same Co. until close of War. Was in Pineville, La. when surrendered, was not a prisoner of War.
