    1. [MSWILKIN] Leak/Aswell question

    3. Seeking information. I have a William A. Leak b. abt 1859 that I need further information on-- (he was listed on 1880 Census as age 21) and Mary Jane Aswell b. abt. 1860/61 (she was listed on 1880 Census as age 20). William A. Leak married Mary Jane Aswell May 6, 1880 in Wilkinson County, Miss. Mary Jane's parents were William Aswell and Eliza Perry (b. Dec. 30, 1839 d. June 12, 1890). Could anybody tell me the PARENTS OF this William A. Leak???? I previously thought his parents were Thomas Leak, b. 1813, d. bef. 1848 and Ellen Rebecca Beck but now see that this is incorrect. They did have a son William A. Leak b. 1835 in Wilkinson County who married Lydia Rabb, Jan. 7, 1855. But it's obvious by birth dates these are two different William A. Leaks. Would love any info on either of these Leak men or their wives. Thanks so much Brenda McCurley White

    3. According to the book "The Journal of Wilkinson county History" Volume II it shows that in Book L page 479 a William A. Leek married Mary Jane Aswell. This could very well be the son of William A Leek who married Lydia Rabb in 1855. Might want to check on the Leek line.
