Walter & Tabitha had a son, Thomas, age 8 in 1850. In the 1860 census he was still in their household, age 18. Thomas Shropshire md. Martha I/J? Shropshire, 23 Nov, 1859 and is 43 in the 1860 census. See below. I also have him as the s/o John and Mary Day Shropshire, a better possibility, but can't remember where I found that information. Mary and John Shropshire md. in 1816. This Thomas would have been born about 1817, so the age would fit.
