    3. It has been awhile since we had a posting from list members letting us know their names of interest. It is as important to let people know the names you have researched, and are willing to share, as it is to ask for help with brick walls. When you do this please put those names in the subject line. A lot of messages with the same subject line is annoying and most of them probably will be deleted without opening. These are the names I have personally researched: Ashley, Day, Cavin, Perry and many names that are connected to these families. I also have a bit on many other names including names that appear in Will Book One and part of Will book two. Do tell us your brick walls. Some one on the list might have the key to break it down. 3. Researching the location of land on the Homochitto River owned by William Scott. In 1787, William Scott petitioned the Gov of Louisiana for the grant of a 200 acre tract of land "on the east side of the south fork, and about 17 miles from the Fort on the Homochitto River." How long did William and wife Clara and their four children, Thomas, William, Gabriel and Mary Elizabeth, live in this area of the Mississippi Territory? Gabriel and Mary Eliz moved on to Jefferson Co., MS. Where are Thomas & William? Headed to my local LDS library tomorrow.
