A recent query mentioned the Hew Davis Plantation in Wilkinson Co., MS. Can anyone tell me more about this plantation? I have been trying to make a connection with my Davis family and have been told that there is a possibility that this family was in Wilkinson Co. at one time. The date would have been around 1817 to 1830 but since I am not sure they were in Wilkinson Co. the dates are not sure either. The head of household would have been John Davis.
