I remember SEVERAL MONTHS ago a question on the List concerning Frogmore Plantation in Adams County. It was supposed to be located in the Kingston, Adams County vicinity. Never heard of it, even though I live in the Kingston community. BUT, Saturday evening on one of my..."got to get out of the house, tired of working and ride" moods..... ...about 10.5 miles down Kingston Road, on the left hand side, I saw a road sign with Frogmore Plantation Lane. Bet this is the original plantation site!!! For people that know the Kingston Road (going south), the road makes a V-- go to the left you are going toward the Homochitto Forrest....go to the right you are going toward Hutchins Landing Road which will eventually come out on Hwy. 61 South. Frogmore Plantation Lane is located about 2 miles from the above V on the left. and...about 1 mile AFTER Commencement Plantation that was/is owned by Webb Carter and...about 1.5 miles BEFORE Courtland Plantation. and...about 3 or 4 miles from the Homochitto Forrest. Now, if I have not totally confused you...it's worth pursuing if you are looking for the original Frogmore Plantation in Natchez. Brenda McCurley White
