    3. Virginia, in response, I am working primarily on Foster/ Bain(e)/ Addkison/Draper/Zachariah Smith and wife Frances Prestwood/ Grisamore(Greisermer)Sloan, Wilkins. In Wilkinson Co. the main objective is to find where John Foster and wife Mary Smith Foster) were buried, as well as Zachariah and Frances Smith above. All the others were in MS or other states. I do have a good bit of information I will share on any of the above lines including Cory. Our brick wall is Mary (Hill?) Foster and unknown husband, parents of James, John, Thomas, William, Nancy and at least one unknown brother, mostly in Adams Co, but John in Wilkinson Co. then Texas, well documented. Mary et al came to Natchez District in 1782-3, settled on St. Catherine Creek. Mary died 1819 at the age of 92, buried at Foster Mound, Adams Co. A Mayes family bible lists Mary as being a Hill from Salem N.J. John Foster died at age 80 in the home of his son in law Major Francis S. Mayes, where he had spent his last years. Any additional information on Mary (Hill) Foster and her elusive spouse, parents of John Foster, will bring great elation to some frustrated researchers.
