He was nephew of Council Rogers Bass who had md Amanda's sister Eugenia Bate in 1842 Sumner Co.,TN. Amanda and Aneskew had son, Humphrey Alonzo (Lonnie) b 1861. Aneskew d ca 1862. Lonnie was in Shelby Co., TN in 1880, but I have now hit a brick wall and cannot locate him after 1880 - he may have gone to TX. Would like to exchange information.
