    1. [MSWASHIN] Someone has the worm
    2. Mark Murphy
    3. Someone in one or more of these groups has all the following problems: 1. You use Microsoft Internet Explorer 2. You use Microsoft Outlook for your email program 3. Your computer is infected with a nasty worm/virus called W32.Klez.gen@mm. W32.Klez.gen@mm is a mass-mailing worm that will send itself to all email addresses in your Microsoft Outlook Address Book, and you don't know about it. This person or persons need to go to www.symantec.com and get their computer cleaned. I am being bombarded by emails from address in your Outlook address book, all with enticing genealogical subject lines or messages, but the body contains the worm trying to attack. If you meet the first two conditions above, you should check for the third. Anyone else seeing this problem? I assure you this is not a hoax. We have a firewall/scanning software that catches all these, but I thought I'd make you aware because it is still happening. thanks -- Mark A. Murphy

    2. Hi All I just want to wish everyone a Happy Easter . And if you have an Easter tradition that has been carried on in your family for years you may want to mention it. Someone else on the list may have the same tradition in their family and has been carried the tradition on for years. And you might find a new cousin just by the traditions in your family. 1. Re: [MSWASHIN] New List Mom
    2. Hello, I am looking for information on my paternal grandparents side of the family. Both lived in Greenville, MS until their deaths. This is the information that I do have: Roy John Allen (paternal grandfather) PFC US ARMY World War I Born: 4/12/1898 (This is the date on his gravestone. The Social Security Death Index on Rootsweb shows 4/12/1893) Died: 4/5/1977 SS#: 427-60-1236 I am told Roy John Allen was from Copiah County, Georgetown. I do not have the names of his parents (was told Roy's father raised him and believe his name to be Hester?), but do have some sibling names: Frank (half-brother) Elzie (half-brother) Orneal (half-sister) Janie Pearl (not sure if half-sister or sister-in-law) Ruby (half-sister) Barney (half-brother) Bo Allen (half-brother) T.B. Allen (half-brother) I am told his biological brother moved to Kentucky, but I do not have a name. Bessie (Dickerson) Allen (paternal grandmother) Born: 1/26/1902 Died: 6/28/1986 Parents of Bessie: George Henry Dickerson and Minnie Staingley. They are buried at Dickerson Cemetery in Goodman, MS. Siblings: Pearl, Mather, Luna, Henrietta, J.B. Pearl, I am told has a daughter named Mildred who lives in Kosciusko, MS. If anyone has any information on this family please feel free to email me. It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to List Mom. Rhonda E. Allen

    3. Howdy Ma, I'm looking specifically for Emedicus (Emeticus) Murphey, who owned half of the "Bass-Murphey Place", a plantation on Lake Jackson? in Washington Co. He died, apparently at the end of the war, 1865, possibly killed by the Union troops. He was about 60 years old at the time. His partner was Eugenia Bass (nee Bate) whose husband, Council R. Bass, died in Wash. Co. abt. 1854. She remarried an Italian Count, Bertinatti, and apparently cheated Emedicus' estate out of his share of the plantation, about $15,000. Emedicus is on the 1850 census. He may have been known as Doctor, though he wasn't a physician. Any help appreciated. Please visit my website for more than you care to know. thanks, Mark http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~freshnup/markmurph/ CajinCoon@aol.com wrote: > Hi all list Mom here > Would you please post some queries on some names you need help on. > Name, date , places are what information you have .
