Scott Shewbart DENNIS - Scott Michael Shewbart, 43, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at his home. He was born July 7, 1964, in St. Paul, Minn., to Edgar Mitchell and Elaine Haugen Shewbart. He was self-employed in body shop work. He was a former firefighter and chief of Dennis Fire Department. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with Bro. Bobby Hankins officiating. Burial will be in Burnout Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Savannah Roberson (Shannon) of Golden and Brandy Collier (Bubba) of Wheeler; two sons, Bradley Shewbart and Holden Shewbart, both of Dennis; four brothers, Rocky Shewbart of Dennis, Eddie Butram (Bonnie) of Ohio, and Edward Shewbart and Tim Shewbart (Glenda), both of Tupelo; two sisters, Angel Shewbart and Amy Shewbart, both of Fulton; his father, Edgar Shewbart of Fulton; two granddaughters, Anslie Clair Roberson of Golden and Shelley Ann Collier of Wheeler; two grandsons, Dalton Collier and Brayden Collier, both of Wheeler; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents. Pallbearers will be Jerry Roberson, Marty Allen, Brent Lambert, Don Hall, Jimmy Skinner and Billy Don Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Ashley, David Chilcoat and David Wesson. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until service time Thursday. -------------- James Wages II DENNIS - James Ellis Wages II, 47, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at his home after a long illness. He was a truck driver for Morgan Van Lines before becoming disabled. He was a Baptist. Private services were held Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Kesler Funeral Home Chapel in Baldwyn with Bro. John Cagle officiating. Burial was in Asbury Cemetery in Baldwyn. Survivors include his mother, Martha Wages of Guntown; three sisters, Teresa Burleson of Guntown, Janet Benjamin of Baldwyn and Debbie Blades of Sommerville, Tenn.; one daughter, Christy Morgan of Peoria, Ill.; three sons, James Wages III, Jacob Wages and Curtis Wages, all of Saltillo; two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father, James Wages Sr., and a brother, Dennis Wages.
