Hi. I am new to this list. I have just managed to track down my James H. PEDEN (PADEN) to Tishomingo County. I found a record of his marriage to Elizabeth SHERRALL on 7 Nov 1848. I have quite a bit of descendant information I'd be glad to share. I'm still trying to find his parents. If there are any connections out there, I'd be glad to hear from you. I looked in the 1850 census to see if maybe James H. was living near his parents and although I found two different bunches of Pedens, James H. was not listed. Did he leave the county after marriage?
