VESTA CLEMMONS FUNERAL HELD TODAY Mrs. Vesta Clemmons, 73, of 114 Green St., Tupelo, died Tuesday at 5:45 a.m. at her home. She was the widow of a former Corinthian, Robert Howard Clemmons. She was a member of the Okolona Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. Funeral services were to be held today at 2:30 p.m. at McPeters Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Grisham officiating. Burial was to be in Holly Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E.G. Colbert and Miss Vesta Gray Clemmons, both of Houston, Texas; and five grandchildren.
