I find it interesting that these families went to Pope Co and Johnson Co, Ark., as I had families of Floyd and Blackard (unrelated) go to these areas from Tishomingo Co, MS. The Blackard/Ham families were in Hardin Co, TN before Tishomingo County, MS. I think it might be of interest to others looking to find families that left Tishomingo Co, in the middle to late 1800's, to look in this area. Often families immigrated to other areas in groups, both related and unrelated (neighbors looking for economic opportunities). Perhaps a listing on the Tishomingo County Historical & Genealogical Society Website for Locations of Immigrations of Families from Tishomingo County would be helpful, if researchers would contribute information they find in their searches. I have pictures of the London, Pope County, Ark. railroad depot and other unidentified persons in pictures of Pope Co, Ark. (probably Floyd related). I also have pictures and some history of Hubbards and Woodalls that went to Hillsboro, Texas from Tishomingo County. Seems many families went to this North Texas area from Tishomingo County.
