In the 1850 Tishomingo county census John W. Bledsoe (Bledsow in the census)and his small sons lived next door to Preston Leach Doty and his family. John W.'s youngest son was named Preston Leach Bledsoe. I need to know what the connection was between Preston L. Doty and John W. Bledsoe. They lived in now Prentiss county near Booneville. Preston L. Doty is buried in the Caroline Church Cemetery. Thank you for reading this. John A. Foster
