Hi, Dale. I know this doesn't answer your question, but are your Whitehursts by any chance related to John Thomas and Nancy Rachel (Palmer) Whitehurst? John was born in MS 1857 and Nancy in TN 1856. I believe they were both living in Tishomingo around the time peroid between 1860-1885. They were living in Cleburne Co. AR after 1900.
