Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed The Cemetery Books goes back as for as the first person recorded as being buried in the named cemetery. In most every cemetery, there are unmarked graves, unreadable toombstones and more. If your ancestors died before 1870 in Old Tishomingo County, [the year, old Tishomingo county was divided into Alcorn, Prentess and Tishomingo Counties] They could be buried in Alcorn or Prentiss counties.
Dody, According to the Cemetery Book, Tishomongo County, there are two Hubbard cemeteries: Hubbard Cemetery (Midway) once located in the Midway area. Several monuments marked graves of Hubbard family. No evidence found of thes monuments or graves. (date of this info 1996) The other one Hubbard Cemetery (Colman Park Area) Turn left off Coleman Park Road on to County road 329 and go about a mile. Town 1, Range 10E and section 25.. It has several Buggs and Hubbards listed. Will be glad to check for you, if you will send me the name of the persons you are looking for.
